Basically, i'm using camtasia 8 recorder, bringing the standard .avi files they produce (techsmith screen codec 2) and dropping the files into premiere pro. they look glitchy in premiere, and when i output them as an export video file.. Also, camtasia may be recording in a codec (ie, the tech smith codec) that doesn't digest well in premiere elements. if that's the case, windows moviemaker or imove may be a much better choice for an editor. premiere elements is primarily designed to work with camcorder video..
